Thought Catalog (Brooklyn, NY)

Thought Catalog is an online magazine with over 30 million monthly readers. The site serves as a platform for emerging and seasoned writers to voice their thoughts and to flourish creatively.

My journey with Thought Catalog began with an essay I wrote about my late cousin, uSihle Nonxuba. What started out as a tribute for his two year memorial, actually ended up kick-starting a passion for self-expression and reflection through writing.

Induna Mag (Zimbabwe)

INDUNA Magazine is a digital women's interest magazine. It is a platform for young women, a space to amplify issues that are relevant and exciting to them. Each issue is edited for an intellectually curious woman; a woman with substance and depth, who also enjoys the lighter side of life.

I decided to challenge myself and submit my first ever written short story to Induna Magazine. This helped birth so many more submissions and even a few published on my own blog that have received great feedback.
